On September 27th 2022 it took place: the long-awaited customer day of JANUS Engineering AG around digital manufacturing with Siemens NX. Over 300 visitors took part in the all-day event and attended the 19 sessions by JANUS experts, the participating partners and customers. In addition to practical and informative presentations, there was also plenty of room for discussions and personal questions.
NX CAM Day 2022 - A review
JANUS Engineering says thank you!
Four years had passed since the last big customer day of JANUS Engineering. Since the last NX CAM Day in 2018, a lot of appointments and trainings took place online at JANUS due to corona. All the more we were looking forward to the NX CAM Day 2022, which was again held in the Böblinger Kongresshalle. More than 300 participants took the opportunity to finally meet directly with JANUS employees again.
19 sessions around digital manufacturing with Siemens NX
During 19 exclusive and practical sessions, the visitors of the NX CAM Day were able to inform and educate themselves. Werner Karp and Patrick Miekautsch from JANUS kicked off the day with their presentation "intelligent Model Based Manufacturing" (iMBM). iMBM describes the basic concept of JANUS Engineering to realize automation in manufacturing. The many other sessions that could be attended throughout the day also showed visitors the latest developments in digital manufacturing with Siemens NX.
Expertise on site
The experts from JANUS offered a variety of opportunities throughout the day to engage in professional or personal discussions with each other, to ask questions or to exchange ideas about current and upcoming challenges. In addition to JANUS Engineering, various exhibitors were also present at the NX CAM Day to advise visitors at the information stands on questions about Siemens NX.
Keynote: Fluffy robots and smart socks
The NX CAM Day was concluded by keynote speaker and digitalization expert Ömer Atiker with his presentation: "Smart socks and fluffy robots - The truth about digitalization". New perspectives, surprising insights and lots of humor made his keynote a highlight of the NX CAM Day.
