At LOUIS, the clicks are over, the machining files are prepared automatically and daily. But has the human element disappeared from the process? No.

Whether it's a warped wooden plate or a part that could move during machining, our operator adds value by reviewing the machining process every day.
If the preparation work was done manually, it would take an entire person full time and that person would not have the time to do these checks (and rather would make mistakes because we are human - clicking the same button 500 times inevitably leads to mistakes).
Furthermore, some machining preparation tasks would simply be impossible for a human to perform. For example, we have implemented a system that calculates and orders the optimal entry points into the material, for each part on each plate, to minimize machine movements and give priority to small parts that are likely to move on the vacuum table.
