Highlights from NX CAM Day 2026

On June 11, 2026, JANUS Engineering hosted the first NX CAM Day North at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hannover Schweizerhof. Numerous participants from the fields of manufacturing, NC programming, production planning, and digital transformation took the opportunity to exchange insights on the latest developments in Siemens NX, intelligent manufacturing processes, and the digital thread.

Practical Insights into Digital Manufacturing

The event focused on practical technical presentations, real world use cases, and direct interaction with users, partners, and experts from the manufacturing industry. The agenda clearly demonstrated how modern manufacturing companies can address increasing demands for efficiency, quality, and automation. Particular attention was given to the presentation of AIDO, the AI powered assistant solution for Siemens NX. The session demonstrated how artificial intelligence can support NC programmers with recurring tasks, analyze machining strategies, and sustainably increase efficiency in CAM programming.

Innovation, Networking, and Expert Exchange

Additional highlights included the latest developments surrounding the JANUS Technology Manager, innovative approaches to Closed Loop Manufacturing with OMP and NXRSP+, automated CMM programming based on PMI and MBD, as well as the digital thread from planning to production with Teamcenter Manufacturing. The presentations illustrated how companies can standardize, automate, and future proof their manufacturing processes for long term success.

The technical program was complemented by a customer presentation from REINTJES GmbH, engaging discussions with exhibitors and partners, and numerous networking opportunities during the breaks and the afternoon get together. The event concluded with a keynote presentation by Dr. Eldar Sultanow, who provided participants with new perspectives on artificial intelligence and its future significance for industry and manufacturing.
