NX CAM DAY 2025 – The highlights

On 25 September 2025, it was that time again: the Neckar Forum Esslingen became the centre of digital manufacturing. Numerous visitors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland accepted the invitation from JANUS Engineering DACH to experience a day full of practical specialist presentations, live demonstrations and personal encounters.

Over 19 exciting presentations provided in-depth insights into the latest developments relating to Siemens NX, the digital process chain and forward-looking manufacturing solutions. In addition to the experts from JANUS, seven partner companies also presented their solutions and innovations – from digital tool management and automation to intelligent processes on the machine.

Our mission was to show participants practical ways in which efficiency, transparency and competitiveness can be increased through the targeted use of digital manufacturing technologies.

There was plenty of time for personal discussions between the presentations. The breaks and the accompanying exhibition provided an opportunity to engage in intensive exchanges with NX users, partners and experts, explore questions in greater depth and make new contacts.

Another highlight caused amazement right from the start: ‘Praktikant 4.0’, a humanoid robot, welcomed guests live on stage, charmingly sought dialogue with participants and willingly posed for photos. He was accompanied by a robot dog that made the audience smile with tricks such as ‘shaking hands’ and small artistic runs* – an impressive example of how close innovation and practice are today.

The consistently positive response showed that NX CAM Day has long been more than just a trade event – it is a platform for active community and collaboration.
 

A particular highlight was the inspiring keynote speech by Joey Kelly. Under the motto ‘No Limits – How I Achieve My Goals,’ he captivated the audience with his unique blend of motivation, discipline and personal stories. His message – never give up and see limits as challenges – perfectly matched the spirit of NX CAM Day.

With a great atmosphere, inspiring discussions and a full house, NX CAM Day 2025 was a resounding success.
