What is AIDO?
AIDO is an intelligent extension for Siemens NX CAM that systematically utilises the expertise available within the company and automatically translates it into robust NC operations. The aim is to automate recurring machining tasks, consistently adhere to standards and sustainably improve the quality of NC programmes.
How does AIDO works
AIDO analyses existing NX CAM operations, recognises relationships between geometry, machining strategy, tools and parameters, and makes this knowledge available in a structured form. On this basis, AIDO supports the automatic creation of NC operations that are based on company-specific standards.
The solution continuously learns from existing programmes and adjustments without an external cloud connection. All knowledge remains securely within the company and is consistently available to all users.

- Web overview page: A browser-based page bundles the tools, operations, machines, materials and, for example, cutting parameters used. This overview can be filtered and sorted and serves as a basis for evaluations.
- Learns from existing CAM parts (with or without an active NX session) machines, operations, tools, materials and proven program sequences.
- Automatically recognises recurring features in the new component and suggests suitable machining operations – including parameters, grouping and sequence.
- Learns with you: every accepted or modified recommendation flows back into the knowledge model and improves the quality of future suggestions.
- Your teams' programming knowledge is stored centrally and made available company-wide.
- When applied to new components, the learned patterns are reproduced – including parameters and programme structure.
