Sharing success and helping people
We are very pleased that we were recently able to support two important social organizations from the region with a major donation. The employees of JANUS Engineering AG decided to donate to the "Klinikclowns für krebskranke Kinder" (Förderverein für krebskranke Kinder Tübingen e. V.) and to the "Sindelfinger Tafel".
For JANUS Engineering, a successful year 2022 came to an end despite the tense world situation and many challenges. We are very proud of this, but we are also grateful! We would like to share our success by living up to our social responsibility as a company by providing financial support to organizations that serve the common good.
"We want to support regional organizations that are often forgotten in difficult economic times. The current economic and political problems and high inflation are a challenge for all of us. All the more reason for us to think of those who have an even tighter budget and currently have to cope with their lives under even more difficult living conditions. We hope that our donation will help those organizations with their valuable projects and their important daily work", says Christian Meyer from JANUS on behalf of the whole JANUS team.
Klinikclowns für krebskranke Kinder
The Förderverein für krebskranke Kinder Tübingen e. V. makes it possible for children suffering from cancer in the Tübingen Children's Hospital, that they are visited by the so-called clinic clowns. They visit the children in the hospital and bring not only laughter, but also variety and a little time out of the clinic's daily routine.
Sindelfinger Tafel
The Sindelfingen Tafel ensures that disadvantaged people in the region are supplied with food. With the Tafel, the Sindelfingen Social Center pursues the goal of collecting food from the appropriate markets and passing it on to people in need. The "Martinslädle" is located in the city center of Sindelfingen and offers a large selection of good food to people in need very cheaply or free of charge.
A big thank you goes out to these organizations that have made it their mission to help people in need.
