In July 2023 there will be a change in the Executive Board of JANUS Engineering AG. Werner Karp, who has built up and managed the company, will retire on 01.07.2023, but will still remain with the company on the supervisory board. The long-time employees Martin Marquardt, Christian Meyer & Patrick Miekautsch will take over the Executive Board as a threesome.
With regard to this change in the Executive Board, the course was set early on with entrepreneurial foresight. An important organisational change was to give the employees a share in the company and to structure the original GmbH into an AG. Furthermore, in the course of growth, care was taken to ensure that a flat hierarchy was practised in the corporate culture. Here, Werner Karp was an early pioneer with the introduction of an agile, holacratic organisational structure. Working together in circles enables the employees of JANUS today to react agilely to upcoming challenges.
Werner Karp, who has successfully led the company in recent years and advanced JANUS Engineering in many respects, will continue to support JANUS in the future on the Supervisory Board with all his experience. We would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his outstanding work and commitment to the company.
A successor for Werner Karp has already been found. Due to the continued strong growth of the company in recent years, it has been decided to appoint three board members in the future.
Martin Marquardt, Christian Meyer and Patrick Miekautsch will take over the positions of the Board of Directors from 01.07.2023 and will continue to lead JANUS Engineering AG into the future together with the entire team.
Martin Marquardt, responsible for Finance, Human Resources & Organisation, brings with him extensive experience and knowledge of the industry and has already been working for the company for 22 years. He has held every conceivable position at JANUS and thus enriches the Executive Board with a broad wealth of knowledge.
Christian Meyer, responsible for Technology, Innovation & Development, and Patrick Miekautsch, responsible for Marketing, Sales & Legal, have been with JANUS Engineering AG since 2014. In their respective areas of focus, they bring extensive skills and experience which are crucial for the future shape of the company.
