Junior Software Engineer

for Siemens NX PLM Solutions

We are therefore looking for further personalities to expand our team of experts and participate in the knowledge transfer of 30+ years software engineering experience from the US to Hungary.

We are looking to recruit additional employees as soon as possible to strengthen our team in the area of Software Development.

In this role you’ll

  • Participate in technical solutions as an author, collaborator, or reviewer 
  • Design, code, test, debug, document and maintain software solutions 
  • Promote and champion good software programming practices 
  • Involvement in complete product ownership, from coding to operations to postproduction support 
     

Your tasks

  • Development of specifications
    In cooperation with our Product Manager, Pre-sales Team and Customers you formulate Software Development requirements. 
     
  • Developing and implementing solutions
    You will check specifications and explore the technical feasibility and realization of the requirements.

  • Analytical skills
    Our customers are the focus of our work, analytical skills to identify customer expectations and requirements are essential. In addition, you should also be able to clarify and ascertain details of these requirements, to gain an understanding of customer problems and solve them. 
     
  • Education
    You have a college or university degree in computer science/technical computer science or similar. 
     
  • Experience and knowledge
    You have very good knowledge of Python language, and preferably experience with configurable CAD/CAM/PLM systems. In addition, you have knowledge in the conception, architecture, and design of software solutions. You have experience with agile development processes and good mathematical knowledge. It would be an advantage if you also have basic knowledge and experience with NX, CAM technologies and C++ programming language. 
     
  • Language skills
    Very good English language skill required. 
     
  • Flexibility
    A willingness to travel completes your profile. The company operates in the US, Switzerland, Germany and Hungary.
