Google may consolidate these data in a profile that is allocated to the respective user or the user’s device.

Google Analytics uses technologies that make the recognition of the user for the purpose of analyzing the user behavior patterns (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The website use information recorded by Google is, as a rule transferred to a Google server in the United States, where it is stored.

This analysis tool is used on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The operator of this website has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user patterns to optimize both, the services offered online and the operator’s advertising activities. The full IP address will be transmitted to one of Google’s servers in the United States and abbreviated there only in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google shall use this information to analyze your use of this website to generate reports on website activities and to render other services to the operator of this website that are related to the use of the website and the Internet. The IP address transmitted in conjunction with Google Analytics from your browser shall not be merged with other data in Google’s possession.

Google only receives the IP address of the user, which is necessary to run the Google Tag Manager. This analysis tool is used on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The operator of this website has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user patterns to optimize both, the services offered online and the operator’s advertising activities. Facebook Pixel

To measure conversion rates, this website uses the visitor activity pixel of Facebook. The provider of this service is Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. According to Facebook’s statement the collected data will be transferred to the USA and other third-party countries too.

This tool allows the tracking of page visitors after they have been linked to the website of the provider after clicking on a Facebook ad. This makes it possible to analyze the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and to optimize future advertising campaigns.

For us as the operators of this website, the collected data is anonymous. We are not in a position to arrive at any conclusions as to the identity of users. However, Facebook archives the information and processes it, so that it is possible to make a connection to the respective user profile and Facebook is in a position to use the data for its own promotional purposes in compliance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy. This enables Facebook to display ads on Facebook pages as well as in locations outside of Facebook. We as the operator of this website have no control over the use of such data.

The use of Facebook Pixel is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The operator of the website has a legitimate interest in effective advertising campaigns, which also include social media. If appropriate consent has been obtained, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TTDSG, insofar the consent includes the storage of cookies or the access to information in the user’s end device (e.g., device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. This consent can be revoked at any time.

Data transmission to the US is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) of the European Commission. Details can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum und https://de-de.facebook.com/help/566994660333381.

If you assert the data subject rights with us, we are obliged to forward them to Facebook.

In Facebook’s Data Privacy Policies, you will find additional information about the protection of your privacy at: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. You also have the option to deactivate the remarketing function “Custom Audiences” in the ad settings section under https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. To do this, you first have to log into Facebook.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate any user-based advertising by Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

LinkedIn Insight Tag

This website uses the Insight tag from LinkedIn. This service is provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

Data processing by LinkedIn Insight tag
We use the LinkedIn Insight tag to obtain information about visitors to our website. Once a website visitor is registered with LinkedIn, we can analyze the key occupational data (e.g., career level, company size, country, location, industry, job title) of our website visitors to help us better target our site to the relevant audience. We can also use LinkedIn Insight tags to measure whether visitors to our websites make a purchase or perform other actions (conversion measurement). Conversion measurement can also be carried out across devices (e.g. from PC to tablet). LinkedIn Insight Tag also features a retargeting function that allows us to display targeted advertising to visitors to our website outside of the website. According to LinkedIn, no identification of the advertising addressee takes place.

LinkedIn itself also collects log files (URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser characteristics and time of access). The IP addresses are shortened or (if they are used to reach LinkedIn members across devices) hashed (pseudonymized). The direct identifiers of LinkedIn members are deleted by LinkedIn after seven days. The remaining pseudonymized data will then be deleted within 180 days.

The data collected by LinkedIn cannot be assigned by us as a website operator to specific individuals. LinkedIn will store the personal data collected from website visitors on its servers in the USA and use it for its own promotional activities. For details, please see LinkedIn’s privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy#choices-oblig.

Legal basis
The use of LinkedIn Insight is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising measures, including social media.

Details can be found here: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/dpa und https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/eu-sccs.

Objection to the use of LinkedIn Insight Tag
You can object to LinkedIn’s analysis of user behavior and targeted advertising at the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out. In addition, LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal information for promotional purposes in the account settings. To prevent LinkedIn from linking information collected on our site to your LinkedIn account, you must log out of your LinkedIn account before you visit our site.

Data processing
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract mandated by data privacy laws that guarantees that they process personal data of our website visitors only based on our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

We shall use such data only for the sending of the requested information and shall not share such data with any third parties.

The processing of the information entered into the newsletter subscription form shall occur exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. a GDPR). You may revoke the consent you have given to the archiving of data, the e-mail address and the use of this information for the sending of the newsletter at any time, for instance by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. This shall be without prejudice to the lawfulness of any data processing transactions that have taken place to date.

The data deposited with us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or the newsletter service provider and deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. The storage in the blacklist is indefinite. You may object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

Klick-Tipp

This website uses Klick-Tipp to send newsletter, info mails and automatic e-mails in connection with newsletter registration, access to content offers and on-demand webinars.

How do we use Klick-Tipp?

(1) In online-supported communication with you, we use the services of KLICK-TIPP LIMITED, 15 Cambridge Court, 210 Shepherd's Bush Road, London W6 7NJ, United Kingdom. The representative of KLICK-TIPP LIMITED within the meaning of Article 27 DSGVO is Michael Kapst, Rotherstrasse 21, 10245 Berlin, DSGVO-Vertreter@klick-tipp.com. We obtain these services through a main contractual relationship with Digistore24 GmbH, St.-Godehard-Straße 32, 31139 Hildesheim, Germany. Digistore24 is a reseller (English Reseller), which procures products or services, like click-tip and sells these without substantial subsequent treatment to buyers. With Klick-Tipp itself, we have additionally concluded an order processing in terms of article 28 DSGVO. This ensures that we have full control over the personal data processed there and that Klick-Tipp implements our instructions in a mirror image.

(2) When Klick-Tipp saves your contact data and, if necessary, processes the data which we process using the online marketing tools described in more detail in this data protection declaration. This is because these providers are fully integrated via a secure interface at Klick-Tipp. It is therefore possible that Klick-Tipp takes note of this data, although - as already mentioned above - Klick-Tipp has no right of use of its own with regard to this data and is fully subject to our instructions. Klick-Tipp uses an IT infrastructure that is made available via the Internet ("cloud"). It includes a storage space for the contact data. In this context, Klick-Tipp itself uses subcontractors, namely Amazon Web Services, Inc., 410 Terry Avenue North, Seattle WA 98109, USA, which in turn have agreed standard contractual clauses/standard data protection clauses with Klick-Tipp.

(3) Furthermore, Klick-Tipp gives us the option of linking your personal data with so-called tags. Klick-Tipp distinguishes between two types of tags:
SmartTags: When a contact registers via a registration form, he or she automatically receives a tag with the name of the registration form in question. In addition, Klick-Tipp automatically sets the tags "e-mail received", "e-mail opened", "e-mail clicked" and "e-mail viewed in browser".
Manual tags: In addition to SmartTags, manual tags can be created. For example, you can add the tag "customer" to contacts or - more specifically - the tag "product x requested".

(4) If you do not want analysis by click-tip, you must therefore unsubscribe from e-mail notifications. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every message. Furthermore, you can also unsubscribe from e-mail notifications directly on the website.
The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation. The data you have provided us with for the purpose of obtaining information will be stored by us until you unsubscribe and will be deleted from our servers as well as from the servers of Klick-Tipp after you unsubscribe. Data that has been stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area) remains unaffected by this.

(5) Details of these and other possibilities that we use at Klick-Tipp can be found in the Klick-Tipp manual.

(6) The Klick-Tipp data protection declaration can be found here.

7. Plug-ins and Tools

YouTube with expanded data protection integration

Our website embeds videos of the website YouTube. The website operator is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use YouTube in the expanded data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode ensures that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. Nevertheless, this does not necessarily mean that the sharing of data with YouTube partners can be ruled out as a result of the expanded data protection mode. For instance, regardless of whether you are watching a video, YouTube will always establish a connection with the Google DoubleClick network.

As soon as you start to play a YouTube video on this website, a connection to YouTube’s servers will be established. As a result, the YouTube server will be notified, which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account while you visit our site, you enable YouTube to directly allocate your browsing patterns to your personal profile. You have the option to prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, after you have started to play a video, YouTube will be able to place various cookies on your device or comparable technologies for recognition (e.g. device fingerprinting). In this way YouTube will be able to obtain information about this website’s visitors. Among other things, this information will be used to generate video statistics with the aim of improving the user friendliness of the site and to prevent attempts to commit fraud.

Under certain circumstances, additional data processing transactions may be triggered after you have started to play a YouTube video, which are beyond our control.

The use of YouTube is based on our interest in presenting our online content in an appealing manner. Pursuant to Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR, this is a legitimate interest. If a corresponding agreement has been requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; the agreement can be revoked at any time.

For more information on how YouTube handles user data, please consult the YouTube Data Privacy Policy under: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

Google Maps

This website uses the mapping service Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

To enable the use of the Google Maps features, your IP address must be stored. As a rule, this information is transferred to one of Google’s servers in the United States, where it is archived. The operator of this website has no control over the data transfer.

We use Google Maps to present our online content in an appealing manner and to make the locations disclosed on our website easy to find. This constitutes a legitimate interest as defined in Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. If a respective declaration of consent has been obtained, the data shall be processed exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. a GDPR. This declaration of consent may be revoked at any time.

Data transmission to the US is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) of the European Commission. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/ and https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/sccs/

For more information on the handling of user data, please review Google’s Data Privacy Declaration under: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

Google Fonts

This site uses so-called Google Fonts, which are provided by Google, for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google's servers. This enables Google to know that this website has been accessed via your IP address. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time.

If your browser does not support Google Fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

You can find more information about Google Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Webinaris

The website operator uses the Webinaris software to host online webinars. The provider is Webinaris GmbH, Bussardstr. 5, 82166 Gräfelfing, Germany (hereinafter called “Webinaris”).

Whenever you participate in one of our webinars, your personal data is stored on the Webinaris servers for the purpose of facilitating the event. The data that is stored comprises:

  • Your email address
  • Browser and system data
  • Your IP address
  • Language and time zone

  • Other data you have entered yourself (e.g. name, phone number or customer number, support requests, chat messages)
  • User data from webinars (e.g. access numbers, application progresses, registration for and participation in a webinar, access of certain pages, etc.)

Webinaris archives these data in a purpose compliant manner and deletes them once the purpose no longer exists. The legal foundation for the use of Webinaris is Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. b GDPR (fulfillment of the contract) and our legitimate interest in the professional handling of our webinars (Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. et seq. GDPR). If a respective declaration of consent was requested (e.g. concerning the storage of cookies), processing shall occur exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. a GDPR; the given consent may be revoked at any time.

Execution of a contract data processing agreement
We have executed a contract with Webinaris, in which we require Webinaris to protect our customers’ data and to refrain from sharing such data with third parties.

8. Our social media appearances

Data processing through social networks

We maintain publicly available profiles in social networks. The individual social networks we use can be found below.

Social networks such as Facebook, Google+ etc. can generally analyze your user behavior comprehensively if you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (e.g. like buttons or banner ads). When you visit our social media pages, numerous data protection-relevant processing operations are triggered. In detail:

If you are logged in to your social media account and visit our social media page, the operator of the social media portal can assign this visit to your user account. Under certain circumstances, your personal data may also be recorded if you are not logged in or do not have an account with the respective social media portal. In this case, this data is collected, for example, via cookies stored on your device or by recording your IP address.

Using the data collected in this way, the operators of the social media portals can create user profiles in which their preferences and interests are stored. This way you can see interest-based advertising inside and outside of your social media presence. If you have an account with the social network, interest-based advertising can be displayed on any device you are logged in to or have logged in to.

Please also note that we cannot retrace all processing operations on the social media portals. Depending on the provider, additional processing operations may therefore be carried out by the operators of the social media portals. Details can be found in the terms of use and privacy policy of the respective social media portals.

Legal basis

Our social media appearances should ensure the widest possible presence on the Internet. This is a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The analysis processes initiated by the social networks may be based on divergent legal bases to be specified by the operators of the social networks (e.g. consent within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).

Responsibility and assertion of rights

If you visit one of our social media sites (e.g., Facebook), we, together with the operator of the social media platform, are responsible for the data processing operations triggered during this visit. You can in principle protect your rights (information, correction, deletion, limitation of processing, data portability and complaint) vis-à-vis us as well as vis-à-vis the operator of the respective social media portal (e.g. Facebook).

Please note that despite the shared responsibility with the social media portal operators, we do not have full influence on the data processing operations of the social media portals. Our options are determined by the company policy of the respective provider.

Storage time

The data collected directly from us via the social media presence will be deleted from our systems as soon as the purpose for their storage lapses, you ask us to delete it, you revoke your consent to the storage or the purpose for the data storage lapses. Stored cookies remain on your device until you delete them. Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular, retention periods - remain unaffected.

We have no control over the storage duration of your data that are stored by the social network operators for their own purposes. For details, please contact the social network operators directly (e.g. in their privacy policy, see below).

If you communicate with us by video or audio conference using the Internet, your personal data will be collected and processed by the provider of the respective conference tool and by us. Integration of Microsoft Bookings

On our homepage we offer the service "Microsoft Bookings" for online booking of meeting appointments.

Microsoft Bookings is provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland, hereinafter: "Microsoft".

This service allows you to book an appointment online with a contact person. Once you have booked, you will receive an automatic confirmation email with further details of your appointment. If necessary, the relevant contact person will consult you via the contact address you have provided to clarify further details of the appointment in advance.

By booking an appointment, we process at least your name as well as your email address. You are not required to provide this information via Microsoft Bookings. However, we cannot offer you an online appointment booking without providing this information. Of course, you are free to use alternative methods of contact to find an appointment.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data by Microsoft Bookings is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data is used to carry out pre-contractual measures.

We store your data for as long as it is required for the appointment organisation. Once the desired appointment has been made, the data is deleted. If necessary, we are subject to legal retention periods, so that your personal data may be stored further.

Please note: Microsoft Bookings is part of the Office 365 cloud application and Microsoft reserves the right to process customer data for its own business purposes. This represents a data protection risk for the users of Microsoft Bookings. Please note that we have no control over Microsoft's data practices. To the extent that Microsoft uses personally identifiable information in connection with Microsoft's legitimate business operations, Microsoft is the independent data controller for such use and, as such, is responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and data controller obligations. Further information can be found in the Microsoft data protection declaration.

The completion of surveys, evaluations and questionnaires is voluntary. The provision of personal data is voluntary here.
Personal data is collected in queries about the scope of offers.

We cannot rule out the possibility that, in individual cases, personal data may also be transmitted to Microsoft Corporation in the USA and processed there. Further information on the processing of personal data by Microsoft can be found at https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement.

Unless there is a legitimate interest in storing the data for a longer period of time, the creator of the form will delete all responses within one year after the survey has been completed.
