The Technical Data Package, or TDP, is a comprehensive set of technical data that gathers everything you need to understand, manufacture, inspect, assemble, and maintain a product. Siemens NX, a leading CAD/CAM software, incorporates this feature to assist industry professionals in managing and sharing these crucial pieces of information.
1- Go to the PMI application
A reminder: to start using PMI in NX, you need to activate the application.

2 - Publish
Simply click on the "Publish" icon in the top right-hand corner of the interface.
This function allows you to create your TDP, a package of technical data from your parts, and export it in 3D PDF or JT Plus PDF format.
3 - Finalize the publication
All you need to do is define the export parameters.
- Choose your method: 3D PDF example
- Choose your "Model»
- In the "Model view" tab, under "Selected views", indicate the location where you wish to generate your documentation.
In the "Attachments" tab, you can attach documents. - Click on "OK"
Your documentation has been generated!
